"I was very satisfied with our service. We were on I-75 with a flat tire on a 45 degree incline and it was easier and safer to let a professional change the tire, with the semi’s coming by shanking the entire car. From start to finish it took about 1 1/2 hours. It was all accomplished through the State Farm App."

"Review for State Farm At first, I was very happy with State Farm. However, my experience drastically changed after I purchased a life insurance policy. Before signing up, I asked many detailed questions to ensure the policy would meet my needs. Unfortunately, after enrolling, the terms and service were not what I was led to believe. Canceling the policy was extremely difficult, and I ended up losing approximately $1,000 with no refund, despite being misled. In addition, I signed up for a paperless auto insurance policy because I have limited time to check physical mail. I made it very clear that I preferred and expected communication and notifications to be sent electronically. Despite this, communication was almost nonexistent. I was later involved in a car accident and, although I had been making partial monthly payments toward my premium (which should have kept some level of coverage active according to typical industry standards), State Farm denied my coverage. I was left to cover car payments, insurance payments, rental costs, and tow truck fees all out of my own pocket, with zero assistance from State Farm. It has now been over three months, and I am still financially and mentally drained dealing with this situation. I have documentation of all communications, payments, and policy agreements, including my request for paperless correspondence, which were not honored. I am posting this review to hold State Farm accountable until this situation is resolved properly. Customers deserve transparency, honesty, and respect — especially when it involves important financial and legal protections like insurance. Quick update My experience with State Farm has been extremely disappointing and unnecessarily stressful. It started with a life insurance policy I purchased after being misled by a local representative. What was described to me during the sale turned out to be very different in practice. After much effort, I was finally able to cancel the policy, but it shouldn’t have been such a difficult and unclear process. More critically, I've been dealing with an auto insurance issue following a car accident in January 2024. Despite making consistent monthly payments (and having proof), I was informed that my policy was not active — which is alarming and confusing. I had opted into electronic communications, as I rarely use physical mail, yet I received no meaningful updates, warnings, or communication about the status of my policy. Even more concerning is that State Farm continued to accept my payments while providing no clear coverage status and no support. I’ve had to pay for my damaged car, monthly insurance, and rent a vehicle out of pocket for over 3 months, with no reimbursement or assistance. Update 3 Recently, I was contacted by a representative from the corporate life insurance side, which I appreciate. However, the auto insurance situation remains unresolved, and continues to cause financial and emotional strain. I was told I’d be contacted last week — but I’ve received no follow-up or effort to address the rental issue or clarify my coverage status. I’m sharing this not to cause harm, but in hopes of receiving proper attention and accountability. I’ve honored my responsibilities as a customer, and I believe I deserve clear communication, fair treatment, and basic support — especially during a time of need."

"Thanks for reaching out Samuel. I will pass this communication on to State Farm directly for them to add to your file that they have been working with you on. I have verified that State Farm did send you the refund on the life insurance that you decided to cancel after the policy had issued. We are showing a check uncashed. If you can confirm this one was never received, we can have it re-issued from corporate as it comes from them not our local office. I know you worked directly with our claim's department on your claim for the most recent accident and based on notes from corporate that resulted in not being covered due to the policy cancelling for non-payment. I know they shared with you the correspondence sent prior to the cancellation and following through text, email, and mail. My local office takes it a step further in reaching out as we did and shared with you prior to the cancellation. We are available and willing to connect you to our claim's department if you need anything further or have anything further to add. I can say with my history being with State Farm since 2007, that we will do everything in our power to pay a claim if we can validate that the coverage was there. "

"I've had State Farm since I was 16yrs old. Now, 50yrs old, I've had my share of agents and will say that Josh & Michelle are awesome and will work for you! A minor issue with my Subaru windshield getting hit by a rock turned into a 2 month issue with my previous state farm agent because of oem vs aftermarket glass. The glass company, ended up breaking my camera and a few other items, but Josh & Michelle went to bat with them and got everything straightened including a rental for me quickly. These are the people you want to be giving your local business to and watch them succeed and grow. They go above and beyond to make the customer happy hoping that it will pay off for them in the end. I hope it does, because they are deserving. Very good, honest, straight forward and get the job done without handholding. Thank you Josh, Michelle and your team!!"
